User Roles

Skillz Developer Console has two sets of user roles based on Account level and Game level permissions. Together, they control what actions an user is allowed to perform on other user accounts and on features for specified games, respectively.

With User Roles, Skillz Developers can strengthen account security by clearly segmenting their employee’s access to various features in the developer console.

Account Level User Roles & Permissions

When you sign up for a Skillz Developer Console account, you automatically become the Account Owner. Only one user on an account can be the Account Owner. This role can be transferred to a different user in the account via the Teammates page.

Each user within your account has a User Role. Management of these roles can be conducted by Admins and Account Owners via the Teammates page.

See the table below for a breakdown of Account Level User Roles & Permissions.

Game Level User Roles & Permissions

To perform actions related to a particular game in Skillz Developer Console (i.e. upload game builds for a game), the user must be assigned with the appropriate game level user roles, and be given access to that specific game.

Each user can be assigned with one or more of the following roles. In addition, Admins and Account Owners can also specify which games the users have access to. Permissions provided by these roles will only apply to games that the user is granted access to. Management of these roles can be conducted by Admins and Account Owners via the Teammates page.

See the table below for a breakdown of Game Level User Roles & Permissions.
